Agate & Moonstones Bookmark
This bookmark was made using soft soldering, a technique using an alloy of tin and silver, allowing to sculpt the metal around the stone.
The main stone is a flat slice of agate. The stones adorning the silver hook of the bookmark are both moonstones.
The bookmark is approximately 16.5cm tall and 0.4cm thick. The hook is 5.5cm long and there is a space of around 0.9cm between the agate slice and the hook.
This object is of course intended to serve as a bookmark, but I will not advice travelling with it, due to the nature of the stone, repetitive shocks could provoke a fracture over time.
